On February 5th, Ambassador Xiao Qian met with Ida Fauziyah， Minister of Manpower. As remarked by Ambassador Xiao Qian, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Joko Widodo, China-Indonesia bilateral relations have achieved remarkable progress and practical cooperation, including manpower cooperation, has yielded fruitful results in recent years.

Minister Ida Fauziyah spoke highly of the development of the bilateral relations. The Minister said that China is a friendly neighbor of Indonesia. China is already the second largest source of foreign investment to Indonesia and has made great contributions to boosting employment in local communities. She looks forward to continuing to deepen manpower cooperation between the two countries in the future.
