Ambassador Lu Kang Attends 2022 Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy

On November 26, Ambassador Lu Kang was invited to attend the “Diplomacy Clinic” Session of the 2022 Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy hosted by the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia. Ambassador Lu talked with Indonesian youths one by one, answering questions of the latter's interest about China, China-Indonesia relations, as well as international and regional hot-spot issues, meanwhile sharing stories about China and China-Indonesia friendship. Ambassador Lu encouraged Indonesian youths to contribute their strength to the building of a community with a shared future between China and Indonesia.

The Chinese Embassy in Indonesia was invited to participate and set up a booth with Chinese characteristics on the venue, showing videos on China’s development achievements in the New Era, and presenting the An Extraordinary Decade of China in the New Era albums and other souvenirs to participants, and attracted a large number of visitors.

The Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy is the largest foreign policy seminar in Indonesia, and is of major influence  among Indonesian youth especially college students. This year’s conference was held for the first time since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and has attracted more than 5,000 people from different communities in Indonesia, including the Indonesian government, business circles, think tanks, universities, media, and diplomatic missions.
