On August 7th, Ambassador Lu Kang called on Mr. Rycko Amelza Dahniel, Head of Indonesian National Counter Terrorism Agency(BNPT). Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation on counter-terrorism and deradicalization.

Ambassador Lu Kang said that China firmly supports Indonesia’s ASEAN chairmanship in 2023 and its efforts to host the East Asia Cooperation Leaders’ Meetings. China will step up cooperation with Indonesia to ensure a complete success of the event.

Mr. Rycko said that Indonesia attaches great importance to China’s positive role in international affairs and the friendly relations between the two countries in a wide range of areas. BNPT is ready to work more closely with China to promote world peace, stability and development.
