On August 7, The Chinese Embassy in Indonesia held the Welcome Reception for the 4th "China-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program". Chargé d'affaires Zhou Kan and Mr. Shao Mingsong, President of Fujian Youth Federation, attended the event and delivered a speech. Youth from China and Indonesia and young diplomats from the Embassy, totally more than 80 people, participated in the event.

In his speech, Mr. Zhou Kan warmly welcomed the youth delegation and introduced the remarkable accomplishments of China-Indonesia cooperation in various fields. Mr. Zhou Kan encouraged the youth of the two countries to become ambassadors for China-Indonesia friendly relations, and wished their visit to China be smooth and rewarding, with knowledge, friendship, and wonderful memories.

Mr. Shao Mingsong hoped that the youth would deepen the understanding of the deep connections, history and culture of Fujian and Indonesia during the event. He expected the youth would develop an enduring friendship, join hands in the journey, and write a new chapter together.

The Welcome Reception was lively and cheerful. Representatives of the youth shared what they saw, heard and felt during the trip and took photos with each other.
