Ambassador Wang Lutong Attends China (Guangxi)-Indonesia Investment and Trade Promotion Conference

On November 28, China(Guangxi)-Indonesia Investment and Trade Promotion Conference was held in Jakarta. Ambassador Wang Lutong attended and delivered opening remarks. The conference was attended by more than 220 people, including Mr. Lan Tianli, Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr. Nurul Ichwan, Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry/BKPM of Indonesia, and  representatives of major Chambers of Commerce, industry associations and enterprises.

In his speech, Ambassador Wang Lutong stated that Indonesia is the birthplace of the “21st-Century Maritime Silk Road”. Under the strategic leadership of the two Presidents, China-Indonesia relations have been at a high level in recent years. The high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries continues to deepen and becomes more substantive. In July this year, the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made systematic arrangements to further deepen reforms and advance Chinese modernization, providing new opportunities for the development of countries around the world, including Indonesia. During President Prabowo’s visit to China, both sides decided to jointly forge an exemplary comprehensive strategic partnership, and build a China-Indonesia community with a shared future of regional and global influence. This has outlined a new blueprint for further deepening China-Indonesia relations, and the bilateral practical cooperation in all fields will enter a new stage.
