According to the PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC)，since its official launch on October 17, 2023, the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (Whoosh) has transported a total of 8.011 million passengers as of February 17, 2025. The average occupancy rate has reached 60.73%, with a record of 24,400 passengers transported in a single day. To further meet the growing travel demand, Whoosh has increased its daily train operations from 48 to 62 trips starting February 1, reducing the departure interval to every 30 minutes.

Jointly constructed by China and Indonesia, Whoosh spans 142.3 kilometers with a maximum operating speed of 350 km/h. It has shortened the travel time between Jakarta and Bandung from over 3 hours to just 46 minutes, providing local residents with a safe, green, efficient, and comfortable travel option.
