On 20 March, 2025, Ambassador Wang Lutong attended the launch ceremony of the Batang Industrial Park Special Economic Zone in Indonesia and unveiled the special economic zone with President Prabowo Subianto. 

During the Event, Ambassador Wang Lutong and Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economy Affairs Airlangga Hartarto jointly attended the signing ceremony of the MoU between China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. and Batang Industrial Park. In his speech, Ambassador Wang Lutong said that the "Two countries, Twin parks" is a key project of concern to President Xi Jinping and President Prabowo Subianto. The signing of the MoU will further promote the construction of the Batang Industrial Park and inject greater impetus into the development of the "Two countries, Twin parks". China is willing to take the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with Indonesia and jointly deepen practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

Minister Counsellor Li Hongwei and Counsellor Wu Zhiwei attended the relevant activities.
