On April 23, Ambassador Wang Lutong attended the China (Sichuan)-Indonesia Economic, Trade, Cultural and Tourism Exchange Promotion Conference and delivered a speech. The conference was attended by more than 220 people, including Governor of Sichuan Province Shi Xiaolin, Vice Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries of Indonesia Todotua Pasaribu, and representatives of Chambers of Commerce, industry associations and enterprises.
In his speech, Ambassador Wang Lutong stated that during President Prabowo’s successful state visit to China in November last year, the two heads of state decided to establish a model comprehensive strategic partnership and build a China-Indonesia community with a shared future that exerts regional and global influence, elevating bilateral relations to new heights. Currently, bilateral political mutual trust continues to deepen, economic and trade ties grow closer, people-to-people exchanges expand further, and practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results. No matter how the external environment changes, China remains unwavering in its commitment to opening up, steadfastly upholds the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core, and promotes inclusive and equitable economic globalization. This year marks the 75th anniversary of China-Indonesia diplomatic relations, and we are confident that the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two nations will be further deepened, with bilateral relations ascending to new heights.
