Recently, the Confucius Institutes, Confucius Classrooms, and Chinese teaching sites at Indonesia’s University of Alazar, Hasanuddin University, Maranada Christian University, Puhua Trilingual School and other schools held a variety of activities to celebrate the 16th United Nations Chinese Language Day.

The cultural activities feature traditional Chinese  elements such as Hanfu, calligraphy, tea art, lacquer fans, paper-cutting, the "Twenty-Four Solar Terms", porcelain, Chinese painting, folk music, chess, ancient poetry, rubbing art,and opera facial makeup painting, etc. They demonstrates the unique charm of Chinese culture and attracts widespread participation from Indonesia teachers, students and guests.
