In order to strengthen bilateral cooperation in science and technology, Mrs. Nur Tri Aries Suestiningtyas, Executive Secretary of Indonesian Institute of Sciences led a delegation to visit China from April 25 to 30. In Beijing, the delegation held a discussion with Mr. Zhang Yaping, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and visited Beijing National Technology Transfer Center of CAS, Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry of CAS as well as Institute of Botany of CAS. In Yunnan Province, the delegation held a discussion with Mr. Ruan Zhaoqi, Deputy Director General of Yunnan Provincial S&T Department and visited China-ASEAN Innovation Center Biological Industry Incubator, Yunnan Jinrui Seed Industry CO.LTD. , Kunming National High-tech Zone as well as several S&T enterprises.

Mr. Hari Purwanto, Advisor to the Minister of Technology, Research and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEK DIKTI) and Prof. Muhammad Dimyati, Director General of RISTEK DIKTI who were attending the Thematic Forum on “Silk Road of Innovation” of the 2nd Belt & Road Forum for International Cooperation also attended the discussion with Mr. Zhang Yaping and related activities.
