The 2019 China-Indonesia Technology Promotion was held in ICE BSD Tangerang on the afternoon of 23 October 2019. Mr. Yi Fanping, Science Counselor at the Embassy, Mr. Qian Jian, Deputy Director General of Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr. Dedy Saputra, Deputy Director for Supporting Organizations of RISTEK DIKTI, Dr. Yan Rianto, Director of Center for Implementation and Innovation of Science and Technology of LIPI attended the event. Around 180 participants from governments, enterprises and STPs of both countries held technology matching discussions during the event with couples of cooperation initiatives reached.

During the event, Mr. Yi Fanping held a meeting with Mr. Qian Jian and Dr. Yan Rianto on the main works of bilateral technology transfer cooperation in 2020.

Before the event, Mr. Yi Fanping took a visit to Chinese booth of the 2019 Indonesian Science Exhibition (ISE). 22 Chinese enterprises attended ISE this year with 30 projects. Mr. Xie Chengsuo, First Secretary of the Embassy and Mr. Liu Lei, Second Secretary of the Embassy attended the above-mentioned activities.
