On December 21 2016, Kompas Daily, the most-published newspaper in Indonesia published an article entitled “China Continues to Innovate” recognizing the Shanghai Waigaoqiao No.3 Power Generation Co., Ltd as the most energy-efficient power plant. Head of the Business Solutions of PLN Jawa Bali said the latest technology used by the power plant to increase efficiency has generated real benefits to the consumers and is environment-friendly. PLN Business Director for the Sumatra Region spoke highly of China's power industry for its rapid development and encouraged Indonesian enterprises to further strengthen mutually-beneficial cooperation with China.
