On March 26, 2025, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, who is to attend the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 in Hainan Province, China.

Ding Xuexiang said that President Xi Jinping met with President Prabowo Subianto twice last year, and elevated bilateral relations to a new level. This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Indonesia. The two sides should follow the important consensus reached by the two Presidents, strengthen the synergy of development strategies, actively foster new highlights in practical cooperation, and achieve greater progress in building a China-Indonesia community with shared future.

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said that Indonesia is willing to take the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership, advancing practical cooperation in infrastructure, energy transition, the digital economy, and other fields.
