1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 March, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 44 confirmed cases;

b) 27 fatal cases (all in Hubei);

c) 84 suspected cases;

d) 1,661 cured and discharged cases;

e) 4,021 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 225 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 7 March, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 20,533 confirmed cases (including 5,264 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 57,065 cured and discharged cases;

c) 3,097 fatal cases;

d) 80,695 confirmed cases;

e) 458 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 674,038 close contacts traced (including 23,074 still under medical observation).

3. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 March, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) 41 confirmed cases (all in Wuhan);

b) 1,543 cured and discharged cases (including 1,259 in Wuhan);

c) 27 fatal cases (including 21 in Wuhan); and

d) 42 suspected cases (all in Wuhan).

As of 24:00, 7 March, Hubei had reported:

a) 19,710 confirmed cases (including 17,772 in Wuhan) still under treatment;

b) 5,140 severe cases (including 4,850 in Wuhan);

c) 45,011 cured and discharged cases (including 29,770 in Wuhan);

d) 2,986 fatal cases (including 2,370 in Wuhan);

e) 67,707 confirmed cases (including 49,912 in Wuhan); and

f) 295 suspected cases (including 258 in Wuhan) pending test results.

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 March, 3 imported confirmed cases were newly reported (2 in Beijing and 1 in Gansu). As of 24:00, 7 March, 63 imported confirmed cases had been reported.

5. As of 24:00, 7 March, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 164 confirmed cases:

a) 109 (including 55 discharged cases and 2 fatal cases) in the Hong Kong SAR;

b) 10 (all had been discharged cases) in the Macao SAR; and

c) 45 (including 13 discharged cases and 1 fatal case) in the Taiwan region.
