1.Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 March, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 47 confirmed cases (all imported);

b) 4 fatal cases;

c) 33 suspected cases (all imported);

d) 491 cured and discharged cases;

e) 1,215 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 174 fewer severe cases.

2.As of 24:00, 24 March, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 4,287 confirmed cases (including 1,399 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 73,650 cured and discharged cases;

c) 3, 281 fatal cases;

d) 81, 218 confirmed cases;

e) 134 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 693,223 close contacts traced (including 13,356 still under medical observation).

3.Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 March, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) zero confirmed cases (Wuhan included);

b) 487 cured and discharged cases (including 472 in Wuhan);

c) 3 fatal cases (including 2 in Wuhan); and

d) zero suspected cases (Wuhan included).

As of 24:00, 24 March, Hubei had reported:

a) 3,828 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 3,794 in Wuhan);

b) 1,368 severe cases still under treatment (including 1,358 in Wuhan);

c) 60,810 cured and discharged cases (including 43,686 in Wuhan);

d) 3,163 fatal cases (including 2,526 in Wuhan);

e) 67,801 confirmed cases (including 50,006 in Wuhan); and

f) zero suspected cases pending test results (Wuhan included).

4.Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 March, 47 imported cases (confirmed) were newly reported (19 in Shanghai, 5 in Beijing, 5 in Guangdong, 4 in Tianjin, 4 in Fujian, 2 in Inner Mongolia, 2 in Jiangsu, 2 in Sichuan, 1 in Jilin, 1 in Zhejiang, 1 in Shandong and 1 in Shaanxi).

As of 24:00, 24 March, 474 imported cases (confirmed) had been reported.

5.As of 24:00, 24 March, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 628 confirmed cases:

a) 386 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 102 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 26 in the Macao SAR (including 10 discharged cases); and

c) 216 in the Taiwan region (including 29 discharged cases and 2 fatal cases).
