1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 27 March, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
a) 54 confirmed cases (all imported cases);
b) 3 fatal cases (all in Hubei);
c) 29 suspected cases;
d) 383 cured and discharged cases;
e) 758 close contacts released from medical observation; and
f) 113 fewer severe cases.
2. As of 24:00, 27 March, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
a) 3,128 confirmed cases (including 921 severe cases) still under treatment;
b) 74,971 cured and discharged cases;
c) 3, 295 fatal cases;
d) 81, 394 confirmed cases;
e) 184 suspected cases pending test results; and
f) 699,396 close contacts traced (including 17,198 still under medical observation).
3. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 27 March, the following were newly reported by Hubei:
a) no confirmed case (Wuhan included);
b) 367 cured and discharged cases (including 360 in Wuhan);
c) 3 fatal cases (all in Wuhan); and
d) no suspected case (Wuhan included).
As of 24:00, 27 March, Hubei had reported:
a) 2,526 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 2,517 in Wuhan);
b) 886 severe cases still under treatment (including 882 in Wuhan);
c) 62,098 cured and discharged cases (including 44,951 in Wuhan);
d) 3,177 fatal cases (including 2,538 in Wuhan);
e) 67,801 confirmed cases (including 50,006 in Wuhan); and
f) no suspected case pending test result (Wuhan included).
4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 27 March, 54 imported cases (confirmed) were newly reported (17 in Shanghai, 11 in Guangdong, 6 in Fujian, 5 in Tianjin, 4 in Zhejiang, 3 in Beijing, 3 in Liaoning, 2 in Inner Mongolia, 2 in Jilin and 1 in Shandong).
As of 24:00, 27 March, 649 imported cases (confirmed) had been reported.
5. As of 24:00, 27 March, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 819 confirmed cases:
a) 518 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 111 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);
b) 34 in the Macao SAR (including 10 discharged cases); and
c) 267 in the Taiwan region (including 30 discharged cases and 2 fatal cases).
