Between 00:00 and 24:00, 29 March, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
a) 31 confirmed cases (including 30 imported cases and 1 domestic case in Gansu);
b) 4 fatal cases (all in Hubei);
c) 17 suspected cases (all imported ones);
d) 322 cured and discharged cases;
e) 1,575 close contacts released from medical observation; and
f) 109 fewer severe cases.
As of 24:00, 29 March, 630 imported cases (including 19 severe cases) are still under treatment and results of 165 suspected cases pending. In total, 723 imported cases have been confirmed, 93 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal cases reported.
As of 24:00, 29 March, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
a) 2,396 confirmed cases (including 633 severe cases) still under treatment;
b) 75,770 cured and discharged cases;
c) 3,304 fatal cases;
d) 81,470 confirmed cases;
e) 168 suspected cases pending test results; and
f) 704,190 close contacts traced (including 19,235 still under medical observation).
Between 00:00 and 24:00, 29 March, the following were newly reported by Hubei:
a) no confirmed case (Wuhan included);
b) 317 cured and discharged cases (315 in Wuhan);
c) 4 fatal cases (all in Wuhan); and
d) no suspected case (Wuhan included).
As of 24:00, 29 March, Hubei had reported:
a) 1,733 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 1,726 in Wuhan);
b) 601 severe cases still under treatment (including 597 in Wuhan);
c) 62,882 cured and discharged cases (including 45,733 in Wuhan);
d) 3,186 fatal cases (including 2,547 in Wuhan);
e) 67,801 confirmed cases (including 50,006 in Wuhan); and
f) no suspected case pending test results (Wuhan included).
As of 24:00, 29 March, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 977 confirmed cases:
a) 641 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 118 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);
b) 38 in the Macao SAR (including 10 discharged cases); and
c) 298 in the Taiwan region (including 39 discharged cases and 3 fatal cases).
