1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 April, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 62 confirmed cases (including 59 imported cases and 3 local cases, i.e. 2 in Shandong and 1 in Guangdong);

b) 2 fatal cases (1 in Shanghai and 1 in Hubei);

c) 12 suspected cases (including 11 imported cases and 1 local case in Guangdong);

d) 112 cured and discharged cases;

e) 2,295 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 22 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 7 April, among all the imported cases, 714 confirmed cases (including 23 severe cases) are still under treatment and 82 suspected cases are pending test results. In total, 1,042 imported cases have been confirmed, 328 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal case reported.

3. As of 24:00, 7 April, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 1,190 confirmed cases (including 189 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 77,279 cured and discharged cases;

c) 3,333 fatal cases;

d) 81,802 confirmed cases;

e) 83 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 715,854 close contacts traced (including 13,334 still under medical observation).

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 April, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) no confirmed case;

b) 69 cured and discharged cases (all in Wuhan);

c) 1 fatal case (in Wuhan); and

d) no suspected case.

As of 24:00, 7 April, Hubei had reported:

a) 448 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 445 in Wuhan);

b) 158 severe cases still under treatment (including 155 in Wuhan);

c) 64,142 cured and discharged cases (including 46,991 in Wuhan);

d) 3,213 fatal cases (including 2,572 in Wuhan);

e) 67,803 confirmed cases (including 50,008 in Wuhan); and

f) no suspected case pending test result.

5. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 April, the following asymptomatic cases were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 137 new cases (102 imported);

b) 11 developed into confirmed cases (all imported);

c) 64 cases released from medical observation (8 imported); and

d) 1,095 cases still under medical observation (358 imported).

6. As of 24:00, 7 April, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,355 confirmed cases:

a) 935 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 236 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 44 in the Macao SAR (including 10 discharged cases); and

c) 376 in the Taiwan region (including 61 discharged cases and 5 fatal cases).
