1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 19 April, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 12 confirmed cases (8 imported and 4 local cases, i.e. 3 in Heilongjiang and 1 in Inner Mongolia);

b) no fatal cases;

c) 2 suspected cases (both imported, in Shanghai);

d) 22 cured and discharged cases;

e) 904 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 4 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 19 April, among all the imported cases, 841 confirmed cases (including 43 severe cases) are still under treatment and 39 suspected cases are pending test results. In total, 1,583 imported cases had been confirmed, 742 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal cases reported.

3. As of 24:00, 19 April, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 1,031 confirmed cases (including 81 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 77,084 cured and discharged cases;

c) 4,632 fatal cases;

d) 82,747 confirmed cases;

e) 43 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 725,814 close contacts traced (including 8,694 still under medical observation).

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 19 April, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) no confirmed cases;

b) 4 cured and discharged cases (all in Wuhan);

c) no fatal cases; and

d) no suspected cases.

As of 24:00, 19 April, Hubei had reported:

a) 105 confirmed cases still under treatment (all in Wuhan);

b) 20 severe cases still under treatment (all in Wuhan);

c) 63,511 cured and discharged cases (including 46,359 in Wuhan);

d) 4,512 fatal cases (including 3,869 in Wuhan);

e) 68,128 confirmed cases (including 50,333 in Wuhan); and

f) no suspected cases pending test result.

5. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 19 April, the following asymptomatic cases were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 49 new cases (5 imported);

b) no cases developed into confirmed cases;

c) 58 cases released from medical observation (7 imported); and

d) 990 cases still under medical observation (184 imported).

6. As of 24:00, 19 April, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,490 confirmed cases:

a) 1,025 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 602 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 45 in the Macao SAR (including 20 discharged cases); and

c) 420 in the Taiwan region (including 189 discharged cases and 6 fatal cases).
