1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 22 April, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 10 confirmed cases (6 imported and 4 local cases, i.e. 3 in Heilongjiang and 1 in Guangdong);

b) no fatal cases;

c) no suspected cases;

d) 56 cured and discharged cases;

e) 824 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 15 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 22 April, among all the imported cases, 793 confirmed cases (including 37 severe cases) are still under treatment and 16 suspected cases are pending test results. In total, 1,616 imported cases had been confirmed, 823 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal cases reported.

3. As of 24:00, 22 April, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 959 confirmed cases (including 63 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 77,207 cured and discharged cases;

c) 4,632 fatal cases;

d) 82,798 confirmed cases;

e) 20 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 728,049 close contacts traced (including 8,429 still under medical observation).

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 22 April, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) no confirmed cases;

b) 28 cured and discharged cases (all in Wuhan);

c) no fatal cases; and

d) no suspected cases.

As of 24:00, 22 April, Hubei had reported:

a) 69 confirmed cases still under treatment (all in Wuhan);

b) 2 severe cases still under treatment (both in Wuhan);

c) 63,547 cured and discharged cases (including 46,395 in Wuhan);

d) 4,512 fatal cases (including 3,869 in Wuhan);

e) 68,128 confirmed cases (including 50,333 in Wuhan); and

f) no suspected cases pending test result.

5. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 22 April, the following asymptomatic cases were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 27 new cases (1 imported);

b) 3 cases developed into confirmed cases (0 imported);

c) 31 cases released from medical observation (7 imported); and

d) 984 cases still under medical observation (166 imported).

6. As of 24:00, 22 April, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,504 confirmed cases:

a) 1,033 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 678 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 45 in the Macao SAR (including 26 discharged cases); and

c) 426 in the Taiwan region (including 236 discharged cases and 6 fatal cases).
