1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 April, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 12 confirmed cases (11 imported and 1 local case in Heilongjiang);

b) no fatal cases;

c) 3 suspected cases (2 imported and 1 local case in Beijing);

d) 89 cured and discharged cases;

e) 566 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 8 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 24 April, among all the imported cases, 720 confirmed cases (including 25 severe cases) are still under treatment and 14 suspected cases are pending test results. In total, 1,629 imported cases had been confirmed, 909 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal cases reported.

3. As of 24:00, 24 April, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 838 confirmed cases (including 49 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 77,346 cured and discharged cases;

c) 4,632 fatal cases;

d) 82,816 confirmed cases;

e) 17 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 729,287 close contacts traced (including 8,493 still under medical observation).

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 April, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) no confirmed cases;

b) 24 cured and discharged cases (all in Wuhan);

c) no fatal cases; and

d) no suspected cases.

As of 24:00, 24 April, Hubei had reported:

a) 23 confirmed cases still under treatment (all in Wuhan);

b) no severe cases still under treatment;

c) 63,593 cured and discharged cases (including 46,441 in Wuhan);

d) 4,512 fatal cases (including 3,869 in Wuhan);

e) 68,128 confirmed cases (including 50,333 in Wuhan); and

f) no suspected cases pending test results.

5. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 24 April, the following asymptomatic cases were reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 29 new cases (4 imported);

b) 1 case developed into a confirmed case (imported);

c) 24 cases released from medical observation (10 imported); and

d) 983 cases still under medical observation (150 imported).

6. As of 24:00, 24 April, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,508 confirmed cases:

a) 1,035 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 725 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 45 in the Macao SAR (including 27 discharged cases); and

c) 428 in the Taiwan region (including 264 discharged cases and 6 fatal cases).
