NHC Emergency Response Office Last updated: 24:00, 13 May 1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 13 May, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps: a) 3 confirmed cases (all local cases, 2 in Liaoning and 1 in Jilin); b) no fatal cases; c) no suspected cases; d) 6 cured and discharged cases; e) 387 close contacts released from medical observation; and f) 1 fewer severe case. 2. As of 24:00, 13 May, among all the imported cases, 60 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases) were still under treatment and 3 suspected cases pending test results. In total, 1,692 imported cases had been confirmed, 1,632 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal cases reported. 3. As of 24:00, 13 May, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps: a) 101 confirmed cases (including 9 severe cases) still under treatment; b) 78,195 cured and discharged cases; c) 4,633 fatal cases; d) 82,929 confirmed cases; e) 4 suspected cases pending test results; and f) 738,262 close contacts traced (including 5,291 still under medical observation). 4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 13 May, the following asymptomatic cases were reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps: a) 12 new cases (1 imported); b) 1 turned into confirmed case; c) 49 cases released from medical observation (2 imported); and d) 712 cases still under medical observation (36 imported). 5. As of 24:00, 13 May, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,535 confirmed cases: a) 1,050 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 1,008 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases); b) 45 in the Macao SAR (including 43 discharged cases); and c) 440 in the Taiwan region (including 375 discharged cases and 7 fatal cases). |
