The opening ceremony of the China-Indonesia "Heping Garuda-2024" joint HARD exercise was held simultaneously at multiple camps of TNI in Jakarta and Banten on 1st December.

The commanders of both sides said in their speeches that the officers and soldiers of the two militaries are practitioners and disseminators of China-Indonesia friendship, and will enhance the consolidation and development of traditional China-Indonesia friendship through mutual learning of skills.

After the opening ceremony, the officers and soldiers of both sides entered the joint natural disaster rescue operation training phase as planned. During the joint exercise, the two sides will conduct in-depth exchanges on tactics concepts, training models, military culture, etc.
