On August 25, Ambassador Wang Lutong attended the 75th anniversary celebration of China-Indonesia diplomatic relations, hosted by the Indonesia-China Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KIKT), and delivered a speech. The event was attended by more than 250 people, including Minister of Housing and Residential Area Maruarar Sirait, Chairman of KIKT Boy Thohir, along with representatives from Chinese and Indonesian business associations and enterprises.

In his speech, Ambassador Wang Lutong emphasized that over the past 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China-Indonesia relations have maintained a strong momentum of development. Last November, President Prabowo Subianto successfully conducted a state visit to China, during which the two heads of state decided to establish a model comprehensive strategic partnership and build a China-Indonesia community with a shared future that exerts regional and global influence, elevating bilateral relations to new heights. Currently, bilateral political mutual trust continues to deepen, economic and trade ties grow closer, people-to-people exchanges expand further, and practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results. We are confident that starting from the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries will yield even more fruitful results and reach new heights.
