On February 12, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia hosted a “Reunion Meal” for Chinese language teachers and students in Indonesia to celebrate the Year of the Horse Spring Festival.

Mr. Zhou Kan, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim had cordial talks with the teachers and students, learning about their studies, work, and daily lives. He noted that over the past year, China has achieved steady and sustained development, with Chinese modernization making solid progress. China–Indonesia relations are at its best in history, and exchanges and cooperation across various fields have grown even closer. Educational exchange and cooperation is important for fostering mutual understanding between peoples. He expressed hope that in the coming year, everyone would make further progress in their work, promote Chinese culture, and contribute more to the traditional friendship, mutual understanding, and trust between the two countries.
