On August 27, Ambassador Wang Lutong attended the China (Guangdong)-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference and delivered a speech. The conference was attended by around 100 guests, including Governor Meng Fanli of Guangdong Province, and relevant Indonesian business associations and representatives of Chinese and Indonesian enterprises.

In his speech, Ambassador Wang Lutong stated that guided by the strategic leadership of the two presidents, China-Indonesia relations have maintained a sound momentum of growth. The comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to deepen, and practical cooperation has grown increasingly closer, bringing the bilateral relationship into a new stage of building a community with a shared future. Last week, the two countries held the Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue and the 2+2 Dialogue in Jakarta. The two sides had in-depth exchange of views on advancing the building of the China-Indonesia community with a shared future and reached extensive consensus. This year, China has embarked on the new development stage of the 15th Five-Year Plan, while Indonesia is striving toward its "Golden Indonesia 2045" vision. China and Indonesia will join hands to write a brand-new chapter of common development and shared prosperity.
